Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region signed today a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with regard to a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant project. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013.
According to the Innovative Development Program of JSC “OSK” with huge state support JSC “Zvyozdochka” actively develops a new direction – manufacturing of modern propulsion units – that up to now has been manufactured only abroad.
On June 4th Rosneft got licenses for Albanovsky and Varneksky areas at the Barents Sea shelf, handed over to the company according to the government decree signed in May this year. The term of both licenses is 30 years.
JSC “PO Sevmash” is planning to participate in Yamal LNG project, claimed Valery Borodin, Manufacturing Director of the company. He said that the construction project owner considers “Sevmash” as one of the most probable partners.
NOVATEK can make an investment decision on Yamal LNG plant in 3-4 months, head and joint owner of the company Leonid Mikhelson said during a conference call.
